World Orphans Day

World Orphans Day is held annually on the second Monday in November since its founding by The Stars Foundation™ in 2006, is a global call to advocate for orphans and vulnerable children. Its signature Light the World Purple campaign invites cities, landmarks, and government buildings around the globe to illuminate in purple as a symbol of solidarity and hope. Over the years, more than 100 countries have participated, and in the Light the World Purple campaign, notable landmarks joined such as:

  • Niagara Falls (USA/Canada)
  • CN Tower, Toronto
  • SkyCap Chicago
  • Brisbane City Hall (Australia), Brentwood City Hall (Tennessee), Kigali Convention Centre (Rwanda), and the Gherkin Building in London (UK). And National Theatre in Uganda

  • Tennessee State Capital Building, Nashville, TN, USA
  • Detroit Lions Ford Stadium

USA Patriotic Support

Patriot Nation features the countries premiere patriotic sites, events, concerts and rallies. Content includes a variety of high impact film shoot locations selected to inspire an American audience with National Pride. The series showcases a variety of festivity highlights and musical performances captured from several historic and cultural sites with the foundation being the American Armed Forces, Veterans, Motorcycle enthusiasts and Country Music Fans. We are committed to our USA troops, Veterans and Children of our Fallen Heroes. We have given $1,500,000.00 in goods in kind to the disabled veterans, and the children of our fallen heroes.

First Ladies Summit

The Stars Foundation has hosted a series of impactful First Ladies Summits in conjunction with World Orphans Day, beginning with its international advocacy at the United Nations World Orphans Day Promotion Committee conference in New York. The inaugural First Ladies Summit was held in 2019 in Nashville, Tennessee, drawing dignitaries and faith leaders to unite in support of the world’s most vulnerable children. This initiative continued in 2024 with a powerful Summit once again in Nashville, welcoming First Lady Monica Chakwera of Malawi, along with Ambassadors, bishops, and international leaders. The strong leadership included former U.S. Ambassador to the UN Mark Siljander, who contributed to strategic dialogues addressing orphan care, education, and youth empowerment. These Summits serve as a global platform for unified action and media outreach, with initiatives broadcast across 83 countries and supported by philanthropic networks. As a result, collaborative plans are now in motion for national impact projects across Africa, impowering orphans and vulnerable children through advocacy, visibility, and tangible support.

Hearts on Fire

Hearts on Fire has been cleared for American broadcast by the National Religious Broadcasters Network (NRBTV) with international distribution scheduled upon completion of the USA broadcast. The series comprises of Dignitaries, Nashville and Hollywood Celebrities and Sports Icons uniting together to help the world’s most marginalized children. Each of the 13 episodes conveys the passion of our supporters while delivering a Message of Love, Peace, and Hope.

Flame of Peace Tour

The Stars Foundation’s Flame of Peace Tour is a global humanitarian and musical initiative honoring troops, veterans in the USA, while bringing hope to orphans, youth at risk, and victims of trafficking globally. This inspiring tour spans the United States and numerous countries including Japan, Uganda, Liberia, Malawi, Kenya, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Lesotho, and Canada. Through concerts, peace ceremonies, and advocacy at royal palaces, national landmarks, and orphanages, the Flame of Peace promotes unity, dignity, and care for vulnerable populations. With celebrity artists and international dignitaries participating, it culminates in a series of events such as the First Ladies Summit, World Orphans Day campaigns, and the filming of the Patriot Nation television series and the Hearts on Fire TV series—all aimed at enhancing change through compassion and global peace. Each year, The Stars Foundation presents a prestigious Flame of Peace Award to a Head of State who has contributed significantly to advancing global peace.
